The M-Tac brand has developed and released the Closed Tourniquet Pouch. The main difference between this model and previously released tourniquet pouches is its closed design, which provides reliable protection of the contents from dirt and dust.
On the front of the pouch, there is a pull tab made of webbing. A sharp tug on it allows you to quickly open the flap and access the tourniquet.
To control how wide the pouch opens, M-Tac designers added a special stopper. In the closed position (with the stopper attached to the VELCRO® Brand panel), the pouch won’t open completely—allowing the tourniquet to be removed only from the top. But if you detach the stopper from the loop panel and place it inside, the pouch will fully open, simplifying content access.
The front of the pouch also features a loop panel with a cross symbol, helping to quickly identify it as a first aid item. There's also enough space to attach patches of similar size, such as blood type identifiers.
The pouch is made of Cordura Squadron—a high-quality, abrasion-resistant material built to withstand heavy loads. Elastic loops are placed on the sides for attaching markers. The back features a MOLLE Laser Cut system (also made from Cordura Squadron), allowing the pouch to be mounted onto any gear with a compatible interface.
