The M-Tac brand has developed and released the Closed Flap Tourniquet Pouch. The main difference between this model and previously released tourniquet pouches is its closed design, which provides reliable protection for the contents against dirt and dust.

On the front of the pouch, there is a strap loop—a quick pull on it allows you to easily and quickly open the flap and access the tourniquet.

To adjust the pouch’s opening degree, M-Tac designers added a special retainer. When closed (with the retainer attached to the VELCRO® Brand panel), the pouch won’t open fully, allowing the tourniquet to be pulled out only from the top. However, if you detach the retainer from the loop panel and place it inside the pouch, it will fully open, simplifying content extraction.

The front panel of the pouch also features a loop area with a cross symbol, helping to easily identify it as a first aid pouch. There’s enough space on it for various patches of similar size, such as blood type identifiers.

The pouch is made of Cordura Squadron, a high-quality material resistant to abrasion and heavy loads. On the sides, additional elastic loops are sewn in for attaching markers.

On the back of the pouch, there are two flaps with loop panels. These allow you to attach the pouch to the bottom or sides of a plate carrier. To do so, simply remove the modular insert from the carrier, secure the pouch using one of the flaps to the carrier’s base, and return the modular insert to its original position.
